Located at Old Warden Park near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire the collection houses over 40 historic aircraft together with cars, motorcycles and carriages in eight floodlit hangars. The event coincided with the Collection's Spring Air Show, so there was plenty to see in addition to the cars. The weather was fine and the venue very crowded - unknown to the Alfa organisers, in addition to the show there was a classic car event too! Lots of Alfas in too small a space but I managed to count only 6 Suds (mine not among them this time, I took my V6 Spider to get some fresh air!). Here are three of them.

What a brilliant day! Superb venue, great organisation and lots and lots of Alfas of all descriptions. Prominent were the 'Featured Cars of the Day' - our beloved Alfasuds - gathered together in a dedicated display area with two MiTos, their spiritual successors. A record total of 31 were counted, many of them familiar but with newcomers too. Even compared with the MiTos they still look good don't they?

Note the less-than-pristine ivory limited edition Sprint Speciale of 1983! (centre bottom row). Can't remember the last time I saw one of these - please, oh please restore her!!
Congratulations to Peter Webster for his Concours win with his 1.7 Sprint Veloce.
The 9th annual Midlands Italian Car Day was at the fabulous Burghley House. The event was a big success with 260+ Italian Cars and everyone praising the choice of venue. The sunshine helped too! Only a handful of Suds - many Sud owners came driving something else (Italian of course!) No less than 3 were driving wives' Fiat 500 s! (me included - I needed the space of the hatch for all the MITCAR gear!)

Same, excellent venue as last year. Lots of static planes and memorabilia in an ex WW2 Bomber Station. I was not able to get this year but Steve Ball said that there were a handful of Suds and captured a shot of this pair - the ex George Cole Super (SR022) now owned by Kevin Boyle from Darlington and the Burnt Orange Ti which belongs to Richard Dixon but does not appear to be registered . Also Rick Clough took a picture too - Kevin Plowman's red Ti ($R107) and the 'mustard' 4 door, which is not on the Register but I understand belongs to Steve Parry.
